Let's try to face the sea monsters like contemporary heroes, we are all in danger, but we can still do something. May our curiosity spur us on to move forward and face our fears. Let us save ourselves from the illusory song of the sirens.
In this edition of the exhibition, created in collaboration with Fondalicampania, more than sixty artists from 17 countries around the world, from Japan to Venezuela, Germany, Belarus and Spain, Austria, the USA and Mexico, Brazil and Argentina, present their works.

New Horizons – A Curatorial Perspective on Transcultural Dialogue in Contemporary Art

New Horizons unfolds as a transcontinental meeting point where contemporary artistic practice becomes a catalyst for cultural understanding and shared imagination. Under the curatorial direction of Dr. Müberra Bülbül and the coordination of Davaasambuu Batnasan, the exhibition and symposium held on 8–9 July 2026 at the Mongol Art Gallery in Ulaanbaatar bring together artists from Asia and Europe to explore how artistic expression can transcend borders and open new spaces of dialogue. Section 7: The Morpheusz Gallery Section 7 of the Morpheusz Gallery, where the exhibition Sör és kenyér (Beer and Bread) is being held, occupies a distinct part of the Podmaniczky Castle. Today, it serves as a temporary art space—an evolving venue for contemporary expression. While there is no specific historical documentation of “Section 7” as an independent entity, its current role symbolizes the cultural revival of the castle itself. The Morpheusz Gallery is more than a physical location; it is a curatorial concept devoted to transformation, metamorphosis, and artistic reflection—true to the spirit of its namesake, Morpheus, the god of dreams.
